Patti Copus

Patti Copus has lived in The Woodlands, TX for over 25 years. She is a proud mother of two grown children and three grandsons. Patti is an entrepreneur and restaurant owner. 

She is a passionate advocate for the geriatric population with a background in nursing home, assisted living, and private elder care. In addition, she was a founding member of Woodlands Church. Patti enjoys bringing awareness to the importance of family, health, and fitness.  

Sarah Davison

Sarah lives in Belton, TX, with her husband, Jeff, who is also involved with and supportive of the WBRx business. They have 4 grown children—2 boys and 2 girls—and 1 grandson. She has a long background in marketing and sales extending from her two tenures teaching at Baylor University to her time as the Director of Community Relations for Visiting Angels. She and Jeff are also Founders of WBRx.

She is best described as someone with a servant’s heart as she has taken leadership and supportive roles with many local and national organizations including Junior League, Parent-Teacher Organization, Boy Scouts of America, Alzheimer’s Association, Central Texas Advocates for Parkinson’s, American Cancer Society, Altrusa, the Military Officers Association of America. She and Jeff are members of First Baptist Church of Temple, TX; they enjoy spending time together with family and friends, on their many DIY projects, traveling, camping, hunting, snow skiing and entertaining.

Dr. Mark Johnson

Dr. Mark Johnson is a general surgeon, currently practicing in Montgomery County, TX. He has had the pleasure of serving his community since 1997. His special interest is in robotic surgery; however, he maintains a full scope of general surgery procedures. He has always been an advocate for preventative care, including breast and colon screenings.

He completed his medical education at Texas A&M College of Medicine in 1997 and internship/residency at Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation in New Orleans, LA.

Dr. Toncie Johnson

Toncie is a physical therapist, community volunteer and devoted wife and mother. She has lived in the community of Montgomery County, TX for the past 22 years. Graduating from The University of Texas at Austin 1985 with a BS in Psychology and The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 1987 with a BS in Physical Therapy, Toncie has served as a health care provider for over 30 years.  

She has been a leader in her children’s schools including PTO and Booster Clubs, involved in The Junior League of The Woodlands since 1999, and specializes in care for the geriatric population in her practice of physical therapy, bringing life to their later years.

Jenny Lloyd

Jenny was born and raised in The Woodlands, TX and is a proud Texas A&M alum. She is an advocate for veterans and spends her free time fighting for a better future for those who have served our country. Jenny is a proud mother of two and strives to lead the charge in making a difference for all those around her. 

After graduating college, she moved to Germany where her passion for helping others took shape, and she created her incredibly successful marketing and photography firm. Throughout the years, Jenny has continued to advocate and inspire her community and became part of Wellness BioSciences Rx in February of 2019. She has built and lead a highly successful team of individuals throughout Texas and has managed to merge her passions for health and special interests to encourage and empower growth in the wellness community.

Erica Hebert-Matthews

Erica Matthews currently leads the Harvard Business School Corporate Learning group for the southern market. She consults senior executives within the Fortune 100 & Private 200 implementing strategies that improve business performance and transform organizational behavior. She also engages Harvard Medical School faculty to help healthcare clients and physicians become better business operators.

 

Part of her work includes building an influential and global network within the business community. Erica also has a personal passion for education around wellness and integrated medicine. Her education includes a Certificate in Corporate Finance from New York University, an MBA University of Texas, Arlington and a Civil Engineering degree from Texas A&M University.

Jeff Matthews

Jeff brings over 26 years of corporate finance transaction and lending experience to the East West Bank platform. Prior to East West Bank, Jeff was Managing Director and Regional Head for Fifth Third Securities (and its predecessor firm Challenger Capital Group) Investment Banking Group where he was focused on supporting the bank’s middle-market relationships throughout the region with Advisory and IB services.

Prior to Fifth Third 9 (and Challenger Capital Group), Jeff was managing director and south region team leader of JPMorgan’s mid-corporate Investment Banking group; Jeff’s team was responsible for the firm’s Mid-Cap/Small-Cap investment banking coverage effort. Jeff was part of the initial team that launched the firm’s middle-market investment banking coverage model; which later served as the template for the firm’s national platform.

Jeff’s responsibilities while at JPMorgan included corporate client management, strategic advisory, private equity and leveraged finance. Jeff’s experience includes both public and private debt and equity capital market executions, as well as strategic advisory work across a broad range of industries.

Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and a master of business administration degree from Texas Christian University.

Meagan Mitchell

Meagan is a compassionate registered nurse with a background in oncology, trauma, ICU, and clinical research. She is currently pursuing her family nurse practitioner license at UTHealth with plans to complete the program in fall 2020. Upon completion, Meagan will focus her attention on disease prevention, taking into consideration the environmental impact and lifestyle factors that influence your genetics and, therefore, the development and progression of diseases. 

Areas of interest include bio-identical hormone replacement, chronic disease prevention, metabolic and gut health, fitness, nutrition, weight loss, and detoxification, including reducing the need for prescription medications.

Meagan is a proud mother of three handsome young men ages 14, 7, and 5. She is a health and fitness enthusiast as well as an adventurous outdoorswoman.

Meagan is a firm believer that if you do not make time for your health and wellness, you will be FORCED to make time for your illness.

Chance Mock

A resident of The Woodlands since 1987, Chance proudly called The Woodlands his hometown for 32 years. As an All-American athlete, Chance performed on the field and in the classroom for The Woodlands High School. He parlayed that success into an opportunity to continue his career at the University of Texas in 2000. As a Longhorn athlete, Chance was a quarterback for the Hall of Fame Coach Mack Brown and helped lead the Longhorns to one of the most successful runs in Longhorn football lore. He graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Education in 2009.

With his background in athletics and a drive to better the lives of those around him, Chance has long been drawn to the health and wellness industry. But it wasn’t until he was introduced to CBD that he was able to alter his own habits and start living a healthy and balanced life.

David and Bridget Preddy

David & Bridget Preddy

David and Bridget Preddy live in Belton, TX. They have two beautiful daughters, Bailey and Harlie. David is a catastrophic insurance adjuster and Bridget owns two gymnastic and cheerleading centers in the Central Texas area.

Ryan Renick

Ryan Renick is a twenty-three-year-old business owner, entrepreneur and Co-Author of Amazon International Best-Seller, “Cracking the Rich Code Vol.2” from Plano, Texas. Recently he graduated from The University of Arizona, where he launched his CBD business.

Renick grew up around business development his entire life and has built a network of impressive relationships which he has utilized and linked together to not only lead to the success of others but as well as his own. His motivation to help others is the very foundation of which his company Whole Body Hemp is built on. He knows that so many people in the world face problems that they cannot face on their own just as he has been through and strives to help those in need in any way possible that he can.

Aside from his own business, Renick consults with other entrepreneurs who aspire to build health and wellness companies. He is a creative individual who has all of the right parts to take an idea and make it a reality and build a successful company. There is no doubt that this young motivated entrepreneur will have tremendous success for years to come.

Mary Smith

Mary Smith is a fifth generation Texan. She has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree from Stetson University and a MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management.

Mary’s primary career focus has been in marketing, beginning her career in the early 1990s and honing her skills with a variety of Fortune 500 companies. After several years building consumer awareness and loyalty for others, Mary “retired” and dedicated her marketing background to building her own business in the real estate sector.

After 25 years in real estate, Mary’s entrepreneurial spirit and skills have now led her into the wellness and nutrition sector as the Owner and Certified Wellness Coach at Wellness Woodlands, LLC.

Joseph L. Trahan is a technology industrialist, innovator and commercialization expert. Over the last 30 years, Trahan has lead projects that have been funded over $2 billion US and started companies in aerospace, information technology, oil and gas, metropolitan fiber optics, and internet marketing.

Trahan’s work with Lockheed Martin, Sysco, AMEC Fisk, SPRINT Paranet, etc. is marked with transformational technology projects. 1-Service was the first cloud services provider based in Houston Texas in the late 1990s. Trahan has consulted directly to boards and CEOs of Lockheed Martin, Boeing, United Space Alliance, Texas Instruments, Exxon Mobil, El Paso Energy, Enron, and many others.

As founder of more than 2M sq feet of highly available datacenters, 3 technology incubators, and the Houston Angel Investor Network, Trahan has invested in and worked with hundreds of start-up companies.
